Shropshire Tourism Launches New Real Ale Trail
5th August 2014

Jodie Stephen from Shropshire Tourism said, “Research shows that visitors to Shropshire spend over £189m pa on food and drink, which is almost 35% of their entire visitor spend whilst in the county.
The aim of this new real ale trail leaflet is to help showcase pubs, inns and micro-breweries that not only have great real ales and beers, but who provide quality local home-made food too. This guide differs from other real ale publications by offering visitors a great all-round pub experience when they visit Shropshire. It is also supported by our dedicated food and drink website for the county, www.shropshirefoodanddrink.co.uk
We are very grateful to the pubs in Shropshire who have whole-heartedly got behind this new promotion. The leaflet includes a handy map to help visitors find pubs when they’re here.”
