First Arts and Craft Fair at Fusion, Jackfield Tile Museum Saturday 24th May

14th April 2014

The first ever May Arts and Crafts Fair is to be held at Fusion on Saturday, 24th May 2014, 10am-4.30pm. Fusion is a beautiful, purpose created building located alongside Jackfield Tile Museum in Shropshire’s Ironbridge Gorge and home to a range of craft designers and makers.

Resident artisans Nikki Williams of Kinki Glass; Angela Edwards-Sowdon of Elemental Arts; Amanda Hillier Design & Printmaking; Dylan Hartley Bespoke Carpenter and Simon of Smith York Fine Art & Cat on the Wall, will be joined for the day by many other designer makers selling beautiful handmade crafts. Following the success of last year’s Christmas Fair, this new event will likewise become an annual show.

There will be demonstrations during the day by Angela and Amanda who are happy to answer questions about painting and print making and provide information about the many varied workshops that are available at Fusion for visitors to learn new artistic skills. There will also be tile decorating workshops run by Craven Dunnill (charges apply to join in the workshops).

Entry to Fusion and the May Fair is free of charge; normal admission fees apply to visit Jackfield Tile Museum.
